Kamdhenu, the divine cow of Indian mythology, embodies nurturing, generosity and abundance. She is not merely a symbol of material prosperity, but of the instinct to give, nourish and sustain life.

At the centre of the composition, her white form represents purity and motherhood. The calves gathered around her reflect care, protection and the continuous cycle of giving. Within her body, a smaller world unfolds: a herd of cows beneath a moonlit sky, symbolising the life and nourishment she carries within herself and offers to others.

Her human face and elaborate gold jewellery give her a goddess-like presence, while the crown and ornaments speak of divinity and abundance. The expansive wings introduce a sense of transcendence, lifting her beyond the earthly form of the cow. The richly detailed peacock feathers bring beauty, grace and the splendour associated with Indian visual traditions.
